How much does a call to COUNTRY X cost?

First, find out which access number you need to dial for your favourite country. Then look at the price stated behind that access number, this is the price per minute for your call and includes VAT and the costs for the international part of the call.

Calls are usually billed per second (Eircom, Telewest and NTL charge per second, for other service providers please check with your service provider if they bill per second or per minute), which means a call for 10 minutes and 30 seconds to a 2Cent/Min access number will be a total cost of 10.5 minutes x 2 cent = 21 cent.

Your service provider also usually charges a minimum charge or connection fee for each call; for example Eircom applies a 5 cent minimum charge. NTL charges a 5 cent connection fee and Telewest a 6 cent connection fee for 08 numbers and 10 cent for 09 numbers. For other networks please contact your service provider.
